Have been up that way many times at low water over the years and catch glimpses of the old town site as I go by. Shame they didn't recover the wagon. I'm sure a historical society would love to have it, but restoration funds would be hard to come by, and it would fall apart as it dried otherwise. Maybe the next time it is exposed it can be recovered, not many left anymore.

I saw a comment saying something about the Santiam Wagon Road, but that followed the South Fork, not the North Fork.
